- American journal of transplantation : official…
- 1 October 2012
The 5‐gene set can diagnose acute rejection (AR) potentially avoiding the need for invasive renal biopsy, and data support the conduct of a prospective study to validate the clinical predictive utility of this diagnostic tool. Expand
Paeonol Attenuates Advanced Oxidation Protein Product-Induced Oxidative Stress Injury in THP-1 Macrophages
Results indicate that paeonol can decrease proinflammatory cytokines in THP-1 macrophages, likely through RAGE, CD36, SR-A, and SR-B1-mediated signals involving NADPH oxidase-dependent ROS generation, and suggests that paelol can be used as a therapeutic agent for diseases contributing to oxidative stress injury. Expand
Regulatory T cells protect against hypoxia-induced pulmonary arterial hypertension in mice.
The results indicated that Tregs protected against hypoxia‑induced PAH in mice; the mechanisms of which may proceed via the suppression of the inflammatory response, as T Regs were found to enhance anti‑inflammatory cytokine levels, inhibit HPASMCs proliferation and regulate the cell cycle. Expand
Chinese herbal extracts (SK0506) as a potential candidate for the therapy of the metabolic syndrome.
- Yi Tan, M. A. Kamal, Zhengzhong Wang, W. Xiao, J. P. Seale, X. Qu
- Clinical science
- 15 October 2010
Overall, the present study has discovered that SK0506 can reverse several components of the metabolic syndrome primarily through acting on hyperlipidaemia and visceral obesity. Expand

Alcohol extracts of S.mukorossi Gaertn can regulate the level of blood fat and improve the pathological changes of the hepatic tissues in NAFLD-rat model, which demonstrates the effects of down-regulating fat level and protecting liver. Expand
HLA-G expression in the peripheral blood of live kidney transplant recipients.
BACKGROUND The human leukocyte antigen-G (HLA-G) has been considered to be an important tolerogeneic molecule playing an essential role in maternal-fetal tolerance, upregulated in the context of… Expand
Anti-inflammatory effects of Reduning Injection (热毒宁注射液) on lipopolysaccharide-induced acute lung injury of rats
Anti-inflammatory effects of RDN was demonstrated to be preventing pulmonary neutrophil infiltration, lowering MPO activity, TNF-α and iNOS gene expression by inhibiting NF-κB activity in LPS-induced ALI. Expand
ReDuNing, a patented Chinese medicine, reduces the susceptibility to H1N1 influenza of mice loaded with restraint stress
Preliminary support is provided to suggest that RDN can reduce the susceptibility to, and the severity of influenza in restraint-stressed mice, and its impact as potential anti-influenza treatments which rebalances homeostasis in the body caused by stress. Expand
