- W. Dathe, H. Rönsch, A. Preiss, W. Schade, G. Sembdner, K. Schreiber
- Biology, MedicinePlanta
- 1 December 1981
Jasmonic acid is a plant growth inhibitor possessing a relative activity in the wheat seedling bioassay of 1–2.5%, compared to ABA, and does not cause retardation of leaf emergence.

- U. Gräfe, W. Schade, I. Eritt, W. Fleck, L. Radics
- ChemistryJournal of antibiotics (Tokyo. )
- 1 December 1982
A new derivative of butyrolactone obtained from culture liquids of Streptomyces viridochromogenes is reported, which has the elemental composition C13H24O4 and contains absorption peaks for a saturated five-membered r-lactone.

- U. Gräfe, W. Ihn, W. Gutsche
- Chemistry, BiologyJournal of antibiotics (Tokyo. )
- 25 February 1995
Helioferins A and B were detected as novel aminolipopeptides in cultures of Mycogone rosea DSM 8822 in the course of a screening for mediators of helianthate anion transfer from aqueous to toluene…

Comparison of the cytostatic effect achieved by these anthracycline derivatives with and without laser light treatment showed a pronounced photodynamic effect, which may herald new photodynamic therapeutic modalities.
Isolation and structures of nitrogen-free platenolide glycosides. I. The 5-O-(deoxy-3'-C-acetyl-beta-D-hexopyranosyl)-platenolides I and II.
Four novel nitrogen-free glycosides of platenolides I and II were isolated as secondary shunt metabolites of the turimycin biosynthesis from the culture broth of an industrial strain of Streptomyces…
Isolation and structure of novel autoregulators from Streptomyces griseus.
- U. Gräfe, G. Reinhardt, L. Radics
- BiologyJournal of antibiotics (Tokyo. )
- 1 May 1982
Two novel autoregulators affecting the cyto-differentiation of anthracycline-producing Streptomyces griseus have been isolated from cultures of aerial mycelium-forming progenitor strains and blocked…
Alcohol-induced switching over of metabolic flux in Streptomyces noursei JA0 3890b.
Changes in the metabolic flux in Streptomyces noursei JA 3890b were correlated to the decrease of the ratio of saturated to olefinic fatty acids in the mycelium, suggesting that alcohols and other polar lipophilic compounds can interfere with the biosynthesis and the function of the cytoplasmic membrane in StrePTomyces.
Fractionation of the chymotryptic precipitate of Bombyx mori silk fibroin.
- H. Zahn, W. Schade, K. Ziegler
- Chemistry, MedicineBiochemical Journal
- 1 September 1967
Amino acid analyses of the chymotryptic precipitate showed in addition to the main constituents Gly, Ala, Ser and Tyr, very small amounts of Lys, His, Arg, Asp, Thr, Glu, Pro, Cys, Val, Met, Ile, Leu, Phe and Trp.
Griseochelin, a novel carboxylic acid antibiotic from Streptomyces griseus.
- U. Gräfe, W. Schade, M. Roth, L. Radics, M. Incze, K. Újszászy
- Chemistry, BiologyJournal of antibiotics (Tokyo. )
- 1 August 1984
Griseochelin, C33H60O7, isolated from an asporogenous strain of Streptomyces griseus represents a novel carboxylic acid antibiotic that forms water-insoluble salts with mono- and divalent cations and binds alkaline-earth metal ions specifically in 2:1 (X2M) stoichiometry.
