- E. Van Cutsem, A. Cervantes, D. Arnold
- MedicineAnnals of oncology : official journal of the…
- 1 August 2016
These ESMO consensus guidelines have been developed based on the current available evidence to provide a series of evidence-based recommendations to assist in the treatment and management of patients with mCRC in this rapidly evolving treatment setting.
FDG PET/CT: EANM procedure guidelines for tumour imaging: version 2.0
- R. Boellaard, R. Delgado-Bolton, B. Krause
- MedicineEuropean Journal of Nuclear Medicine and…
- 2 December 2014
Both the previous and these new guidelines specifically aim to achieve standardised uptake value harmonisation in multicentre settings.
FDG PET and PET/CT: EANM procedure guidelines for tumour PET imaging: version 1.0
- R. Boellaard, M. O'Doherty, B. Krause
- Medicine, PhysicsEuropean Journal of Nuclear Medicine and…
- 14 November 2009
This guideline will address general information about [18F]-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET/CT) and is provided to help the physician and physicist to assist to carrying out, interpret, and document quantitative FDG PET/CT examinations.
Gender differences in Parkinson’s disease
- C. Haaxma, B. Bloem, M. Horstink
- MedicineJournal of Neurology, Neurosurgery & Psychiatry
- 10 November 2006
The results suggest that the development of symptomatic PD may be delayed by higher physiological striatal dopamine levels, possibly due to the activity of oestrogens, and a more benign phenotype in women with PD is suggested.
Guidelines for radioiodine therapy of differentiated thyroid cancer
- M. Luster, S. Clarke, E. Bombardieri
- Medicine, BiologyEuropean Journal of Nuclear Medicine and…
- 1 August 2008
Recommendations are provided on pre-RAIT history and examinations, patient counselling and precautions that should be associated with 131I iodine ablation and treatment, and potential side effects of radioiodine therapy and alternate or additional treatments to this modality are reviewed.
Peritoneal Carcinomatosis of Colorectal Origin: Incidence and Current Treatment Strategies
Cytoreductive surgery and adjuvant (hyperthermic) IPEC have been shown to be efficacious in selected patients and should therefore be considered in patients with resectable PC of colorectal origin.
Pallidal dysfunction drives a cerebellothalamic circuit into Parkinson tremor
- R. Helmich, Marcel J. R. Janssen, W. Oyen, B. Bloem, I. Toni
- Biology, PsychologyAnnals of neurology
- 1 February 2011
Parkinson disease is characterized by striatal dopamine depletion, which explains clinical symptoms such as bradykinesia and rigidity, but not resting tremor, and it remains unknown how the interplay between basal ganglia and the cerebellothalamic circuit can result in rested tremor.
Magnetic resonance tracking of dendritic cells in melanoma patients for monitoring of cellular therapy
In vivo magnetic resonance tracking of magnetically labeled cells is feasible in humans for detecting very low numbers of dendritic cells in conjunction with detailed anatomical information and appears clinically safe and well suited to monitor cellular therapy in humans.
Procedure guidelines for PET/CT tumour imaging with 68Ga-DOTA-conjugated peptides: 68Ga-DOTA-TOC, 68Ga-DOTA-NOC, 68Ga-DOTA-TATE
- I. Virgolini, V. Ambrosini, A. Chiti
- Biology, MedicineEuropean Journal of Nuclear Medicine and…
- 2 July 2010
The aim of these guidelines is to assist nuclear medicine physicians in recommending, performing, reporting and interpreting the results of somatostatin (SST) receptor PET/CT imaging using…
FBXO7 mutations cause autosomal recessive, early-onset parkinsonian-pyramidal syndrome
It is conclusively show that recessive FBXO7 mutations cause progressive neurodegeneration with extrapyramidal and pyramidal system involvement, delineating a novel genetically defined entity that is proposed to designate as PARK15.
