Novel non-indolic melatonin receptor agonists differentially entrain endogenous melatonin rhythm and increase its amplitude.
TLDR
Unexpectedly, all melatonin receptor agonists increased the amplitude of melatonin secretion, in clear contrast to entrainment with melatonin, which significantly decreased the amplitude.
