Primary hyperoxlauria is a rare autosomal recessive disease. This report is of a nine-year-old girl who has suffered from various renal and musculoskeletal manifestations and complications of this disease, which have been well demonstrated by different imaging modalities.
Avascular necrosis (avn) of the hip is a well-documented side effect of corticosteroid therapy, but it has also been described as a complication of radiation and chemotherapy. Atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumour is a rare, highly aggressive tumour of the central nervous system, usually encountered in paediatric patients, and at presentation it is seldom disseminated. This report describes such a case in a 21-month-old boy.
