Geophilomorph Centipedes of Latvia (Chilopoda, Geophilomorpha)
The fauna of Geophilomorpha of Latvia was analysed on the basis of a direct study of 64 specimens from 32 localities and a critical revision of all literature data, finding that the Latvian populations of G. proximus are most probably parthenogenetic.
Spider (Araneae) Species New to the Fauna of Latvia
Nine new spider species were found in the coastal dune habitats near Akmensrags and in Randu coastal meadows. The species were identified by using keys (Almquist 2005, 2006, Heimer, Nentwig 1991).

39 species of gall midges of the subfamily Porricondylinae were recorded from Estonia for the first time and 45 species totally, representing species characteristic for the fauna of Baltic region.
