Impulse activity of mesencephalic neurons on nociceptive stimulation in awake rats
- E. Kiyatkin, V. Zhukov
- Biology, PsychologyNeuroscience and Behavioral Physiology
- 1 September 1988
The prolonged tonic nature of the rearrangements of impulsation of the majority of neurons and their correlation with changes in EMG and AP arising both spontaneously and in response to stimuli can be taken as evidence for their close relationship to behavior of passive avoidance aimed at ridding the animals of aversive stimulation.
Strengthening the walls of the No. 8 lock of the Moscow Canal by prestressed anchors
- S. V. Ternavskii, V. Zhukov, Y. Zal'tsman, A. A. Lyubomirov
- Materials Science

Conclusions1.Overhaul of reinforced-concrete lock walls, in which such consequences of long and deep aging as sustained movements of the top of the walls into the chambers occurred, is a completely…
Effect of compound GB-115 on morphine-induced analgesia
- L. Kolik, V. Zhukov, S. Seredenin
- Biology, PsychologyBulletin of experimental biology and medicine
- 1 June 2007
Experiments on outbred mice showed that compound GB-115, a retropeptide analogue of the tetrapeptide cholecystokinin, produced a naloxone-dependent potentiating effect on morphine-induced analgesia…
Increased anxiety and reduced pain sensitivity in offspring of rats after prenatal morphinization
- T. Voronina, N. G. Chobanov, G. Molodavkin, V. Zhukov
- Biology, PsychologyBulletin of experimental biology and medicine
- 1 August 1994
In prenatally morphinized offspring the analgetic effect of morphine was enhanced, while the anxiolytic effect of buspirone was lower than in intact animals, which suggests rearrangements in the opioid and serotoninergic systems of the brain.
[Use of isradipine and lipostabil for protection of the kidney during extracorporeal lithotripsy].
- A. Neimark, V. Zhukov, A. Fidirkin
- MedicineUrologiia i nefrologiia
- 1998
Isradipine proved a good corrector of renal function after lithotripsy as it decreased enzymuria, promoted normalization of the activity of alkaline phosphatase, gamma-glutamyl transferase, alpha-glucosidase and lactate dehydrogenase to the end of the first postoperative month, which indicates quicker recovery of renal parenchyma after ESWL.

cEffect of Afobazole on Genotoxic Effects of Tobacco Smoke in the Placenta and Embryonic Tissues of Rats
- A. Durnev, A. Solomina, A. Zhanataev, V. Zhukov, S. Seredenin
- Biology, MedicineBulletin of experimental biology and medicine
- 14 August 2010
Afobazole reduced the genotoxic effect of tobacco smoke and decreased the amount of apoptotic DNA comets in placental tissue and embryonic tissue from rats.
Effect of destruction of the brain serotoninergic system on alcohol intake by rats in the early stages of experimental alcoholism
- V. Zhukov, A. I. Varkov, Y. Burov
- MedicineBulletin of experimental biology and medicine
- 1 May 1985
Investigations conducted on animals predisposed and notpredisposed to alcohol have revealed differences in the serotonin (5-HT) content and response of the SES of the brain to administrat ion of a single dose of alcohol to animals of opposite groups, but do not shed some light on the problem.
Experimental Study of Antinociceptive Potency of Dipeptide GB-115 during Chemical and Thermal Stimulation
- L. Kolik, V. Zhukov, T. Gudasheva, S. Seredenin
- Biology, ChemistryBulletin of experimental biology and medicine
- 12 September 2012
Ability of this dipeptide to moderate the nociceptive response in tail flick test under a non-selective blockade of the opioid receptors with naloxone and the absence of similar analgesic potency assessed in the hot plate test attest to predominant effect of GB-115 on spinal opioid receptors.

It is suggested that positive reward zones activation partially realized by opioidergic mechanisms or having no connection with them may lead to the development of non-opiate type analgesia.
