The peroxidase and acid phosphatase activity in developing mice eosinophils has been demonstrated. Both peroxidase and acid phosphatase are localized in various cellular organelles.
Electron-cytochemically peroxysomes were found in the epithelial cells of mice gall-bladder. The possibility is discussed that these are antimicrobial organelles.
