Extending the taxon sampling to include nearly all available 18S chrysophyte sequences from cultured species and environmental DNA, this analysis placed H. foetidus within a separate, well-defined clade dominated by environmental sequences and poorly defined strains of chrysophtes in culture, mostly from cold environments.

The 18S phylogeny of Synchromophyceae and Picophagea is revised by including all available sequenced species and applying Bayesian and maximum likelihood methods; Synchroma grande groups with the photophagotrophic Chlamydomyxa labyrinthuloides with high statistical support.
Resistance to scald (Rhynchosporium secalis) in barley (Hordeum vulgare L.). II. Diallel analysis of near-isogenic lines
Near-isogenic lines (NILs) in the BC7 generation for resistance to barley scald have been developed with ‘Ingrid’ as the recurrent parent, and it seems that 7 out of the 9 lines are allelic, probably at the Rrs1 complex locus on chromosome 3H, one carries the RRS2 locu on chromosome 7H and one is independent of both.
