When the fecundily/longevity ratio was compared it was concluded that S. graminuni was dangerous lo wheal, and BR-35 wheal strain was most susceptible to aphid control.

Study on three species of wheat aphids (Homoptera: Aphididae) in Río Grande do Sul, Brazil
The most important morphological characteristics of aphids are reported, designed for use with specimens on microscope sudes and provide a simple identification key useful to classify multispecific infestations, as a contribution to biological control programs.
