We studied the effect of delta sleep-inducing peptide (40, 120, and 360 μg/kg intraperitoneally, 1 h before the experiment) on free radical oxidation in the liver, aminotransferase activity, and total serum protein content in male Wistar rats during restraint stress. Treatment with the peptide in a dose of 40 μg/kg increased catalase and superoxide(More)
The authors have developed a simple technique for complete and selective suppression of the granulocytes nonspecific fluorescence. The method consists of an additional treatment of the histological sections in a medium for myeloperoxidase detection. Resulting staining of the granulocyte cytoplasm completely inhibits its fluorescence.
The effect of delta sleep-inducing peptide (DSIP) intraperitoneal injection in the doses of 40, 120, 360, and 1080 mcg/kg b. w. on lipid peroxidation and functional hepatocyte state in Wistar male rats subjected to acute and chronic electrical foot-shock stress was investigated. It was observed that 120 mcg/kg peptide normalized the elevation of(More)
Medicinal polymer films with the antitumor antibiotic doxorubicin have been developed for the treatment of malignant neoplasms of mucous membranes. The optimum concentration of doxorubicin in the films is 0.14 mg cm2, and the optimum base material is hydroxypropylmethylcellulose. The optimum conditions of doxorubicin determination by HPLC have been(More)
Hepato- and endothelioprotective action of runihol and ademetionine in 66 male rats with liver disease induced by essential and second-line antituberculosis drugs in combination with alcohol were studied. One-directed affirmative action study drugs, shown to reduce the level of biochemical markers of cytolysis and cholestasis in conjunction with a(More)
Quantitative criteria of obscure thymic pathology (OTP) are obtained by morphometric study of the thymus of 102 infants with severe infectious-inflammatory processes (IIP). OTP is characterised by depression of epithelial hyperplasia in accidental involution found in 28.4% IIP and is followed by the disturbances mainly in the cell immunity system. This type(More)
