The dynamics of staphylococcus infection was studied in experimental infection of chick embryo fibroblasts with electron microscopy. It was shown that the antibiotic-resistant forms of staphylococci (strain 79) were capable of invading the fibroblast cytoplasm inducing its gradual vacuolization up to complete destruction.
