First this paper discusses the relation behveen perception of displayed image and angle of depression in automotive Head-Up Displays (HUDs). Second, we can point out a new serious problem of misconception of displayed information, if the angle is very small in practical HUDs. Lastly we describe what this stems from through psycho physical experiments.
