The first step for integration of new electrical generators, power converters and control techniques in a wind energy conversion system (WECS) is to simulate them in a computer environment. The next step is to test on a test bench, ie a wind independent controlled test environment. A major challenge in developing the test bench for such application is to(More)
This work aims at the design of a roped elevator prototype, which uses a linear induction motor (LIM) as a traction machine. It is also concerned with the development of a specific inverter to feed the linear motor that allows several ways to drive the elevator through a suitable choice of the RMS voltage levels, angular phase displacement and electrical(More)
This paper deals with the robustness analysis of an anti-windup predictive current controller applied to a DFIG-based wind turbine in the presence of parameter variation. Experimental results were carried out, under the changing of the rotor speed, power and voltage sags, for a 3.7kW DFIG to verify the robustness of the designed controller.
