The precise and reliable cooling system for Vacuum Electron Sources at AREAL linear accelerator has been developed. The cooling system provides high accuracy temperature stability for accelerator components.
In this paper is presented an apparatus for measurement of thermophysical parameters and control of quality of equipments in high vacuum also in high and low temperature conditions. The equipment gives possibility to explore the measurement dynamics depending on level of temperature and vacuum, also tightness control of joints of materials.
AREAL (AdvancedResearchElectronAccelerator-Laboratory) is the laser driven RF gun based on 5MeV(Phase 1) electron linear accelerator project. The main goal of the vacuum system is to maintain a mean pressure of 1 nTorr, with beam. The vacuum system is entirely oil less and all the vacuum components are all metal type.
