Observations support the hypothesis that chromosomal instability is associated with DNA aneuploidy in colorectal cancers and suggest that near-diploid tumors are also unstable at a lower level than classic aneuPLoid tumors and that all chromosomes are not affected equally in near- diploid cases.
Minimum bias windows for bispectral estimation
Effects of a school based exercise program on children's resistance and flexibility.
The 6-week training period showed positive results in improving back muscles resistance and hamstring flexibility of schoolchildren.
Immunohistochemical detection of p21waf1/cip1/sdi1 and p53 proteins in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections of colorectal carcinoma.
A CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY OF GENDER DIFFERENCES IN PULLING STRENGTH OF TOW FOR JAPANESE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN
The aim of this study was to obtain the data of gender differences of pulling strength during experimentally executed TOW for Japanese elementary school children. In mean back strength, gender…
DNA ploidy analysis by laser scanning cytometry (LSC) in colorectal cancers and comparison with flow cytometry.
LSC provides DNA histograms equivalent to FCM for surgical specimens and has potential clinical application in pathology by comparing nuclear DNA ploidy determined by LSC and by flow cytometry in 77 samples of human colorectal cancer from 48 patients.
Monosomy of chromosome 18 detected by fluorescence in situ hybridization in colorectal tumors
In this study, the relation of aberrations in chromosome 18 to type of colorectal cancer was examined and Chromosomal examination was expected to provide a clue to an answer to this question.
A novel minimum ribozyme with oxidoreduction activity.
That an RNA has oxidoreduction activity indicates new possibilities for RNAs as "living molecules", and 5-Hydroxycytidine may be a vestige of RNAs that formerly possessed metabolizing ability.
Image processing system using incoherent image feedback.
By combining a TV system with suitable optical systems an image processor which uses the technique of image feedback is constructed. The special features are the simplicity of the arrangement and the…
Adaptive techniques for precise detection of the coherence function by an intensity triple correlator.
An adaptive technique for precise detection of the coherence function by intensity triple correlation is proposed. Adaptive change of the sampling interval and the calculation of differential phase…
