The data indicate that the AS after graft implantation will diminish gradually but will persist for at least 6 months, usually the transverse diameter is bigger than the antero-posterior diameter.

Strain elastography may be a valuable adjunct to conventional B-mode ultrasound, perhaps primarily in primary care, when considering whether to refer to a sarcoma center or to biopsy, although biopsies cannot reliably be ruled out based on the current data.

A 68-year-old man, with a history of hypertension and smoking, who had undergone a total pancreatectomy due to pancreatic cancer, without major complications, was admitted to the local hospital with fever (39.2°C) and abdominal pain one month after the operation.
