Genome-wide and molecular evolution analyses of the KT/HAK/KUP family in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.)
- T. Hyun, Y. Rim, Ekyune Kim, Ju-Sung Kim
- BiologyGenes & Genomics
- 28 January 2014
It is indicated that the segmental duplication of the KT/HAK/KUP genes in tomato originated 35.89–62.77 million years ago, and adaptive evolution analysis showed that purifying selection contributed to the evolution of segmental duplicated pairs.

- 5 February 2014
The ability of RcMCHI2 (R. coreanus Miquel chalcone flavanone isomerase 2) gene to complement Arabidopsis transparent testa 5 mutant supported the feasibility of the transcriptome library to provide the gene resources for improving plant nutrition and pigmentation.
Transcriptome Analysis in Chinese Cabbage (Brassica rapa ssp. pekinensis) Provides the Role of Glucosinolate Metabolism in Response to Drought Stress
- S. Eom, Seung-A Baek, J. K. Kim, T. Hyun
- Biology, MedicineMolecules
- 1 May 2018
Analysis of the transcriptome profile of Chinese cabbage grown under drought conditions indicated that drought-induced accumulation of glucosinolates in leaves directly or indirectly controlled stomatal closure to prevent water loss, suggesting that organ-specific responses are essential for plant survival under drought stress condition.
