A novel mutation (Q40P) in PAX8 associated with congenital hypothyroidism and thyroid hypoplasia: evidence for phenotypic variability in mother and child.
TLDR
Findings confirm the important role of PAX8 in the development of the thyroid, but they indicate that PAX8 gene mutations may have a variable penetrance or expressivity.
Observations on the biology of Afrotropical Hesperiidae (Lepidoptera). Part 12. New information and corrections
TLDR
The larval ectoparasitoid Eulophidae from the rearing are revisited and grouped into seven morphospecies, including Stenomesius japonicus (Ashmead) and Apallaga handmani (Collins & Congdon) stat rev. is removed from synonymy of A. biseriata maculata (Hampson) and accepted as a good species based on barcode and biology differences.
Observations on the biology of Afrotropical Hesperiidae (Lepidoptera). Part 9. Hesperiinae incertae sedis: Zingiberales feeders, genera of unknown biology and an overview of the Hesperiinae incertae
TLDR
A brief comparative discussion of the early stages of the Afrotropical Hesperiinae incertae sedis as a whole is concluded, there appear to be useful characters to group species by the ova and pupae but less so by the caterpillars.

TLDR
Partial life histories for 13 Afro–tropical Tagiadini (Hesperiidae: Pyrginae) are described and illustrated and generalisations are made for the tribe in Africa.
Observations on the biology of Afrotropical Hesperiidae (Lepidoptera) principally from Kenya. Part 3. Pyrginae: Celaenorrhinini
TLDR
Partial life histories for 15 species and two subspecies of Afrotropical Celaenorrhinini (Hesperiidae: Pyrginae) are described and illustrated, and generalisations are made for the tribe in Africa.

Four new Iolaus Hbner, 1819 species are described in the subgenus Philiolaus Stempffer Bennett, 1958. They are assigned to the newly formed I. maritimus species group. Members of the group occur in
Tea in Tanzania
TLDR
The past, present and likely future contributions of tea to the Tanzanian economy are reviewed.
The genus Ampittia in Africa with the description of a new species (Hesperiinae; Aeromachini) and three new species in the genera Andronymus and Chondrolepis (Hesperiinae, incertae sedis)
TLDR
The genus Ampittia Moore, 1882 is accepted as a valid genus occurring in both Africa and Asia on the basis of a number of unusual shared characters, a somewhat surprising result since the species A. kilo- mbero from Tanzania is described as the third African member of the genus.
