We propose a learning agent that first learns concepts in an integrated, cross-modal manner, and then uses these as the semantics model to map language. We consider the action of throwing, considering the whole trajectory as a single image. A large set of such images, and the throwing parameters are mapped jointly onto a low-dimensional non-linear manifold.(More)
This open-label multi-centre study evaluated Gammaplex(®) 5%, a human intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) 5% liquid, in 25 children and adolescent patients (aged 3-16 years) with primary immunodeficiency diseases (PIDs). Subjects received Gammaplex 5% (at doses of 300-800 mg/kg/infusion) for 12 months, with a 3-month follow-up. The primary efficacy end-point(More)
Vision provides us with much information about distal spaces, and enables us to formulate expectations about how objects move. In this work, we consider how images, together with motor and performance data, can be used to form ”maps” or a holistic view of any motion. For example if the learner knows how to throw a ball, it may be able to use the map to see(More)
Background Female genital tract mucosae are bathed in acidic secretions, which, in the case of HIV-1 infected women, likely contain virus coated with antibody. Thus, uninfected male sexual partners are often exposed to an acidic milieu containing virus in the form of immune complexes. We investigated the impact of low pH and antibody on transcytosis, a(More)
