Describing the hematologic effects of the MHb-forming compound p-aminopropiophenone (PAPP), and two structurally related phenones, p-aminoheptanoylphenone (PAHP) and PAOP, in mice provided information which will be useful for the successful development of improved anti-CN MHb formers.
