Enamel Matrix Protein Interactions
- Hongjun Wang, Sissada Tannukit, D. Zhu, M. Snead, M. Paine
- ChemistryJournal of Bone and Mineral Research
- 1 June 2005
This work believes that each of these enamel matrix proteins must interact with other organic components of ameloblasts and the enamel Matrix, likely protein partners would include integral membrane proteins and additional secreted proteins.
TFIP11 Interacts with mDEAH9, an RNA Helicase Involved in Spliceosome Disassembly
- X. Wen, Sissada Tannukit, M. Paine
- BiologyInternational Journal of Molecular Sciences
- 1 November 2008
TFIP11 recruits mDEAH9 suggesting that these two proteins have similar biological activities to their yeast counterparts, based on amino-acid sequence similarities across species.
TFIP11, CCNL1 and EWSR1 Protein-protein Interactions, and Their Nuclear Localization
- Sissada Tannukit, X. Wen, Hongjun Wang, M. Paine
- BiologyInternational Journal of Molecular Sciences
- 1 August 2008
Using fluorescently-tagged proteins and confocal microscopy, it is shown that TFIP11, CCNL1 and EWSR1 frequently co-localize to speckled nuclear domains, which would suggest that all three proteins participate in a common cellular activity related to RNA splicing events.
Using the yeast two-hybrid assay to discover protein partners for the leucine-rich amelogenin peptide and for tuftelin-interacting protein 11.
- Hong-jun Wang, Sissada Tannukit, X. Wen, Jason Lee Shapiro, M. Snead, M. Paine
- BiologyEuropean Journal of Oral Sciences
- 1 May 2006
The sensitive yeast two-hybrid assay was used to identify proteins that interact directly with amelogenin, ameloblastin, enamelin, the leucine-rich amelgenin peptide (LRAP) and TFIP11.
An amelogenin minigene to study alternative splicing.
- Jason Lee Shapiro, Hongjun Wang, X. Wen, Sissada Tannukit, M. Paine
- BiologyDNA and Cell Biology
- 11 January 2006
This work has successfully cloned an amelogenin minigene, and as a result it was shown to be functionally active by transfection into multiple cell lines and to describe and discuss novel amelgenin alternatively spliced transcripts.
Detection of mycoplasma contamination in cell cultures
- Sissada Tannukit, Supreya Wanichpakorn
- Biology, Medicine
- 2017
It is recommended that combination of at least 2 methods should be performed to detect mycoplasma contamination, and there are many detection methods available such as microbiological culture, DNA staining, PCR, and biochemical assays.
Effects of tannin-fluoride and milk-fluoride mixture on human enamel erosion from inappropriately chlorinated pool water.
- Sumalee Boonviriya, Sissada Tannukit, Suwanna Jitpukdeebodintra
- Chemistry, MedicineJournal of Oral Science
- 2017
It is demonstrated that treatment with fluoridated milk with or without tannin-fluoride has protective effects against enamel erosion caused by low-pH swimming pool water.

Long-Term Effect of Modified Glass Ionomer Cement with Mimicked Biological Property of Recombinant Translationally Controlled Protein
- Prawichaya Sangsuwan, W. Chotigeat, Sissada Tannukit, U. Kedjarune-Leggat
- Materials SciencePolymers
- 1 August 2022
This study modified glass ionomer cement (GIC) by adding mimicked biological molecules to reduce cell death. GIC was modified to BIOGIC by adding chitosan and bovine serum albumin for enhancing…
