The formal type concept is presented as a means to uniformly introduce in the PASCAL language the dynamic array facility (which may be done as a pure extention) and formal procedure [4] specifications (which would require some changes in the standard language [1]).

We analyze in detail how the scattering by nonmagnetic impurities affects the shape and amplitude of the order parameter ~OP! and the density of states in anisotropic superconductors in the framework of BCS theory. Special attention is paid to the case when the OP is a mixture of d and s waves changing its sign on the Fermi surface. The critical temperature… (More)

A quantum group analysis is applied to the Sine-Gordon model (or may be its version) in a strong-coupling regime. Infinitely many bound states are found together with the corresponding S-matrices. These new solutions of the Yang-Baxter equations are related to some reducible representations of the quantum sl(2) algebra resembling the Kac-Moody algebra… (More)

A microscopic theory of the plasma resonance in layered metals is presented. It is shown that electron-impurity scattering can suppress the plasma resonance in the normal state and sharpen it in the superconducting state.
