We report a 10 year old girl with congenital thrombocytopenia with absent radii (TAR) syndrome. Unusually this patient has shown no abnormal bleeding tendency despite numerous orthopaedic procedures. There is evidence of an associated immune component to the thrombocytopenia which has not been previously documented.
Presented herein is a case report regarding successful endovascular prosthetic repair of an abdominal aortic aneurysm in its retroperitoneal rupture in a 56-year-old male patient treated by implantation of the unilateral stent-graft «Aorfix», cross femoro-femoral bypass grafting, and ligation of the contralateral common iliac artery.
The findings of a comparison between laparoscopy as an outpatient sterilization procedure on 270 patients in a Louisiana charity hospital with postpartum tubal ligation on 490 patients in a private hospital are presented.
