The present study determined the prevalence of EqPV-H in the sera of clinically healthy horses in South Korea to identify the potential factors for infection and examine the genetic diversity of Eclavirus-hepatitis DNA sequences through comparison with foreign strains.

Two varunid crabs, Hemigrapsus takanoi Asakura and Watanabe, 2005 and Sestrostoma toriumii (Takeda, 1974), are newly reported from Korean waters and showed smaller size than those mentioned in the original description.
