Indications of a minimized scope of lymphadenectomy for submucosal gastric cancer
- S. Shimoyama, H. Yasuda, K. Mafune, M. Kaminishi
- MedicineAnnals of Surgical Oncology
- 1 August 2002
When submucosal cancer is evaluated as cT1cN0, a virtually sufficient minimized scope of lymphadenectomy is a D1 dissection for that within the cutoff diameter and a modified D2 dissection with survival benefits identical to those of a conventional D 2 dissection.

- S. Shimoyama, K. Yamasaki, M. Kawahara, M. Kaminishi
- Medicine, BiologyClinical Cancer Research

The results suggest that the increased concentration of sANG that is derived from colorectal cancer correlates with cancer progression.
Peppermint oil reduces gastric spasm during upper endoscopy: a randomized, double-blind, double-dummy controlled trial.
- N. Hiki, H. Kurosaka, M. Kaminishi
- MedicineGastrointestinal Endoscopy

- D. Zhang, S. Shimoyama, M. Kaminishi
- MedicineArchives of Surgery

The PPG procedure with complete D2 lymphadenectomy can be performed safely with a low incidence of major complications and a better postoperative outcome than the CDG procedure, and can be recommended for the treatment of early gastric cancer with broader indications.
