- Yu-peng Liu, Chih-ping Chen, S. Shih, Yi-Fang Chen, Fei-Shih Yang, Su-Chiu Chen
- MedicinePediatric pulmonology
- 1 June 2010
To investigate the contribution of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to the diagnosis of fetal cystic lung lesions found on routine prenatal ultrasound (US), a large number of lesions were found to be associated with cystic fibrosis.
Gastric volvulus in children.
- Szu-Wen Chang, Hung-Chang Lee, S. Shih
- MedicineActa paediatrica Taiwanica = Taiwan er ke yi xue…
Chronic GV was diagnosed in the presence of partial volvulus with chronic, nonspecific symptoms and signs, and conservative management was successful in patients with chronic idiopathic GV.
Perinatal features of omphalocele-exstrophy-imperforate anus-spinal defects (OEIS complex) associated with large meningomyeloceles and severe limb defects.
- C. Chen, S. Shih, F. F. Liu, S. Jan, C. Jeng, C. Lan
- MedicineAmerican journal of perinatology

An accurate prenatal diagnosis of OEIS complex and associated malformations is important for the detailed counseling of the family as well as appropriate perinatal management by the obstetricians, pediatric surgeons, urologists, neurosurgeons, and neonatologists.
Case report: agenesis of the right lung diagnosed by three-dimensional reconstruction of helical chest CT.
- C. T. Wu, M. R. Chen, S. Shih, F. Huang, S. Hou
- MedicineThe British journal of radiology
- 1 November 1996
These are the first cases of right lung agenesis diagnosed by three-dimensional reconstruction of helical chest computed tomography, used to demonstrate the complete absence of the carina, right main bronchus and right lung.
Usefulness of magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography in pancreatobiliary abnormalities in pediatric patients.
Case report. CT diagnosis of volvulus of the descending colon with persistent mesocolon.
Congenital lobar emphysema: appearance on fetal MRI
A 27-year-old woman was referred for further evaluation of a fetal lung lesion identified on routine prenatal US. MRI at 25 weeks’ gestation showed an enlarged, but structurally intact, left upper…
Recurrent Intussusception: when Should Surgical Intervention be performed?
Cebocephaly, alobar holoprosencephaly, spina bifida, and sirenomelia in a stillbirth.
This case adds to the examples of overlapping cephalic and caudal defects, possibly related to vulnerability of the midline developmental field or axial mesodermal dysplasia spectrum.
Airway changes in children with mucopolysaccharidoses.
Significant changes in the shape of the vocal cords and trachea in patients with MPS were found and the airway changes may be due to abnormal submucosal storage of substances such as keratan or dermatan sulfate.
