Both PDL and 1064-nm Nd:YAG laser are effective and safe in the treatment of angiokeratoma of Fordyce with better response in Nd:(YAG) laser than pulsed dye laser.
Pulsed dye laser versus long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser in the treatment of hypertrophic scars and keloid: A comparative randomized split-scar trial
PDL and long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser treatments for keloid and hypertrophic scar provide significant improvement with insignificant difference between both modalities.
Intense pulsed light versus photodynamic therapy using liposomal methylene blue gel for the treatment of truncal acne vulgaris: a comparative randomized split body study
LMB-IPL is more effective than IPL alone, safe with tolerable pain in the treatment of acne vulgaris on the back, and there was a correlation between CADI score and overall improvement.
Successful treatment of traumatic scars with combined nonablative fractional laser and pinpoint technique of standard CO2 laser
Pinpoint irradiation technique by CO2 laser followed by nonablative fractional laser is a safe and effective modality in treatment of scars.
Fractional carbon dioxide laser assisted delivery of topical tazarotene versus topical tioconazole in the treatment of onychomycosis
Fractional CO2 laser-assisted drug delivery is an effective and safe treatment option for onychomycosis and is proven to be a challenge to healthcare professionals.
Ablative Fractional 10 600 nm Carbon Dioxide Laser Versus Non-ablative Fractional 1540 nm Erbium-Glass Laser in Egyptian Post-acne Scar patients.
Both fractional ablative CO2 and fractional non-ablative erbium glass lasers are good modalities for treating acne scars with a high efficacy and safety profile and good patient satisfaction.
