It is surprising that the Pfcrt haplotype in India is predominantly SVMNT, rather than that seen in Southeast Asia, and the widespread prevalence of the PfCrt K76T mutation is a cause for concern.

Assessment of motility and velocity parameters of sperm of freezable and nonfreezable ejaculates by computer-assisted sperm analyser (CASA) such as Hamilton-Thorne Semen Analyser IVOS 11 in mithun semen confirmed that the CASA was effective for a quick and objective analysis of Motility and Velocity parameters in mmithun semen.
Bio-efficacy of plant extracts against red spider mite (Tetranychus sp.) infesting brinjal (Solanum melongena L.)
- S. Ghosh
Neem individually did not produce good results (moderate mite suppression) but when used as a mixture with lower dose (1 ml/L) of chemical insecticide, dicofol provided better results recording more than 70 % suppression.
