- Computer ScienceISWC/ASWC
- 11 November 2007
The extraction of the DBpedia datasets is described, and how the resulting information is published on the Web for human-andmachine-consumption and how DBpedia could serve as a nucleus for an emerging Web of open data.
DBpedia - A large-scale, multilingual knowledge base extracted from Wikipedia
- Jens Lehmann, Robert Isele, C. Bizer
- Computer ScienceSemantic Web
- 2015
An overview of the DBpedia community project is given, including its architecture, technical implementation, maintenance, internationalisation, usage statistics and applications, including DBpedia one of the central interlinking hubs in the Linked Open Data (LOD) cloud.

DBpedia SPARQL Benchmark - Performance Assessment with Real Queries on Real Data
- M. Morsey, Jens Lehmann, S. Auer, A. N. Ngomo
- Computer ScienceInternational Workshop on the Semantic Web
- 23 October 2011
It is argued that a pure SPARQL benchmark is more useful to compare existing triple stores and provide results for the popular triple store implementations Virtuoso, Sesame, Jena-TDB, and BigOWLIM.
LIMES - A Time-Efficient Approach for Large-Scale Link Discovery on the Web of Data
- A. N. Ngomo, S. Auer
- Computer ScienceInternational Joint Conference on Artificial…
- 16 July 2011
This paper presents and evaluates LIMES, a novel time-efficient approach for link discovery in metric spaces that utilizes the mathematical characteristics of metric spaces during the mapping process to filter out a large number of those instance pairs that do not suffice the mapping conditions.
Integrating NLP Using Linked Data
- Sebastian Hellmann, Jens Lehmann, S. Auer, Martin Brümmer
- Computer ScienceInternational Workshop on the Semantic Web
- 21 October 2013
It is argued that simplifying the interoperability of different NLP tools performing similar but also complementary tasks will facilitate the comparability of results and the creation of sophisticated NLP applications.
LinkedGeoData: Adding a Spatial Dimension to the Web of Data
- S. Auer, Jens Lehmann, Sebastian Hellmann
- Computer ScienceInternational Workshop on the Semantic Web
- 6 November 2009
This paper elaborates on how the collaboratively collected OpenStreetMap data can be transformed and represented adhering to the RDF data model and describes how it can be made accessible for machines according to the linked data paradigm and for humans by means of a faceted geo-data browser.
LinkedGeoData: A core for a web of spatial open data
- Claus Stadler, Jens Lehmann, Konrad Höffner, S. Auer
- Computer ScienceSemantic Web
- 1 October 2012
This paper elaborates on how the collaboratively collected OpenStreetMap data can be interactively transformed and represented adhering to the RDF data model, which will simplify information integration and aggregation tasks that require comprehensive background knowledge related to spatial features.
