High quality three-dimensional micro-and nano-structures were fabricated in photoresist SU-8 by two-photon laser lithography. We demonstrate the viscosity measurement using laser-trapped liquid crystal droplet. The viscosity determined experimentally depended on the diameter of the droplet and boundary conditions at the liquid crystal surface which was changed by adding surfactant.
Fabrication of metasurfaces by subtractive and additive (ablation and polymerisation) techniques are demonstrated using ultra-short laser pulses.
