A mathematical model for the steady flow of non-Newtonian fluid through a stenotic region is presented. The results indicate that the general shape and size of the stenosis together with rheological properties of blood are important in understanding the flow characteristics and the presence of flow separation.
The ethanolic extracts of aerial shoots of Mollugo cerviana and its leaf derived callus were tested for antimicrobial activity using the filter paper disk assay method. A calf with congenital bilateral exural deformity of the metacarpo-phalangeal joints was presented and subsequently diagnosed as contraction of super cial digital exor tendons. It was treated with tenotomy of super cial digital exor tendons.
