Based on the data obtained in exploring the processes of background bioelectric activity of the brain by means of Karhunen-Lóeve decomposition, the authors have revealed constitutional peculiarities of EEG characterizing the systemic mechanisms of hereditary disposition either to longevity or to cerebral vascular pathology.
Clinico-electrophysiological examinations of the indigenous population of Azerbaijan and of Russians who had moved to the indicated region over 150 years before made it possible do define the ethnic traits of the ageing of the central nervous system. Overall 495 persons were examined. In Russians, the age-associated alterations in brain bioelectrical… (More)
Study of the mathematical model of processes of the brain's bioelectric activity such as Pugachev's canonical decomposition has allowed to establish the association between the degree of quasi-determination of the study processes, and the hereditary disposition in development of cerebral vascular pathology. The results obtained have been used for the… (More)
