Temporal sequence of cell wall disassembly in rapidly ripening melon fruit
The Charentais variety of melon (Cucumis melo cv Reticulatus F1 Alpha) was observed to undergo very rapid ripening, with the transition from the preripe to overripe stage occurring within 24 to 48 h.

Disassembly of this structural network probably involves the concerted and synergistic action of suites of these enzyme families, where one family of cell wall modifying proteins might mediate the activity of another, providing the basis for orchestrating ordered cell wall restructuring and turnover.
Influence of enzyme treatment on bioactive compounds and colour stability of betacyanin in flesh and peel of red dragon fruit Hylocereus polyrhizus ( Weber )
The role of commercial pectinase enzyme, Pectinex® Ultra SP-L (10,292 PGU/ml) was studied with respect to the degradation of polysaccharide structure in middle lamella releasing bioactive compounds
(+)-Abscisic acid metabolism, 3-ketoacyl-coenzyme A synthase gene expression, and very-long-chain monounsaturated fatty acid biosynthesis in brassica napus embryos
It is demonstrated that (+)-ABA promotes VLCMFA biosynthesis via increased expression of the KCS gene and that reducing ABA catabolism would increase VLCMFAs in microspore-derived embryos.
Monooxygenase, Esterase, and Glutathione Transferase Activity Associated with Azinphosmethyl Resistance in the Tufted Apple Bud Moth, Platynota idaeusalis
It appears that multiple hydrolases are the primary metabolic factor in azinphosmethyl resistance in the tufted apple bud moth.

It is hypothesized that the activity of DPP’IV in serum and expression of CD26 in lymphocytes may be altered in patients with eating disorders, and the potential implications of these observations on, and beyond, immune function are discussed.
Pemphigus herpetiformis with an autoimmune response to recombinant desmoglein 1
A response to the letters from Dr Slater and Professor Sterry, except to say that the former seems to answer the points made by the latter, and that the histopathological point of view, I prefer REAL to EORTC with regard to PCBCL, but I suspect that both will need modi-cation as further data become available.
Isolation , Characterization and in vitro Pharmacological Activities of Tagetes Erectus
Tagetes erectus (family: Asteraceae), commonly known as ‘African marigold’, is an ornamental plant widely distributed in India. The plant has been used in traditional medicines in India and elsewhere
