We present a case of visualization of a clot in the superior vena cava with collateral flow to the liver during a lung perfusion scan. A digital venogram performed after injection through the right central venous line confirmed the presence of a clot in the superior vena cava with retrograde flow into the azygous venous system.
Kamble et al. recently reported two cases of central nervous system (CNS) graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and performed a literature review. We report a patient with hemiparesis secondary to granulomatous encephalitis that was believed to be a manifestation of GVHD. The patient is a 41-year-old male diagnosed with follicular lymphoma in 2003. He was(More)

Conversely in the suratentorial fossa, up to 20% of childhood tumours arise in the suprasellar region with craniopharyngiomas, visual(More)
Radioimmunodetection (RAID) using Tc-99m labeled Fab' fragments of the anti-CEA monoclonal antibody IMMU-4 was performed in a 68-year-old man for preoperative evaluation of colonic metastases. Planar images at 3 and 18 hours showed uptake within known metastases in the left lobe of the liver that had been observed with CT and at surgery during the preceding(More)
We describe a patient with Wegener's granulomatosis (WG) who developed neurological symptoms attributed to meningeal involvement. The diagnosis of WG was complicated by persistently negative antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA) and lack of specificity in the histopathological findings from multiple anatomical sites. This rare neurological(More)
