Researchers are exploring the rendezvous concept - bringing sensors close to one another in space or time - as a way to make sense of disparate data collected by individuals. Cystic fibrosis has been regarded as a disease of infants. Yet, with improved management, a high percentage of patients how survive into young adulthood. In addition, mild cases may not be detected until long after infance. The older patient often has minimal symptoms, and the majority are socially active and productive.
