In 18 normal human volunteers plasma angiotensin-I-converting-enzyme (ACE) activity was measured before and after inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis by indomethacin. ACE activity did not change significantly after treatment. It is concluded that renin is probably the only component of the renin angiotensin system, which is influenced by prostaglandins.(More)
