[1] A time series of more than 450 combined ERS-2, Radarsat-1, and Landsat-7 scenes acquired between 1998 and 2001 was analyzed to develop a fairly complete picture of lake ice dynamics on Lake El’gygytgyn, NE Siberia (67.5 N, 172 E). This 14-km lake partially fills a meteorite impact crater formed 3.6 million years ago and is home to a paleoenvironmental(More)
Two families in which aberrations involving chromosome no. 2 had been previously used for linkage studies have been re-examined using banding techniques to identify the breakage sites. In one family a (2; 10)(q21;q24) translocation was identified in individuals previously thought to have a pericentric inversion of chromosome no. 2. In the other, a fragile(More)
A study of genetic markers was undertaken in a kindred containing 19 individuals affected with a depressive illness. The pedigree was selected for study because the distribution of affected family members is consistent with transmission of an autosomal gene for susceptibility to psychiatric abnormality. Evidence against linkage of the postulated dominantly(More)
Forty-seven psychiatric inpatients, including 26 schizophrenics and 21 nonschizophrenics, were measured on four clinical factors (chronicity, premorbid adjustment, reported symptomatology, and diagnosis) and four indices of reaction time (RT) performance (mean RT, RT variance, and redundancy-associated deficit [RAD] at 3- and 7-second preparatory intervals(More)
A family with an autosomal dominant form of congenital cataract, total nuclear cataract, was examined for genetic linkage between the cataract locus and 30 marker loci. Close linkage was excluded for all of the 21 informative loci. There was no significant evidence for linkage of the cataract locus with any of the marker loci.
The reaction time crossover (redundancy associated deficity) scores of 28 process schizophrenics, selected for the presence of crossover, were correlated with the crossover scores of 53 of their first-degree relatives (one to five relatives for each patient.). The resulting product-moment correlation coefficient was .27 (p < .05), thus lending support to(More)
