Design, synthesis, and binding studies of new potent ligands of cannabinoid receptors.
This study planned the synthesis of a series of compounds which retained both a rigid structure, like that of plant cannabinoids, and a flexible portion similar to that of anandamide, and showed that some of the newly developed compounds have high affinity and specificity for cannabinoid CB1 and CB2 receptors. Total hip arthroplasty after acetabular fracture: does initial treatment make any difference to the outcome? A 5- to 23-year follow-up with clinical and radiological analysis
Despite the good results found in both groups, THA after previous osteosynthesis for acetabular fractures had more complications than a primary THA in conjunction with acetABular reconstruction. Expand
Osteochondral avulsion fracture of the posteromedial tibial plateau
This work described a posteromedial tibial plateau avulsion fracture at the semimembranosus insertion and referred to the surgical treatment of those transversal osteochondral fractures. Expand
Percutaneous Distal Osteotomies of the Metatarsal Bones: Surgical Technique and Results
It is believed that percutaneous distal metatarsal bone osteotomy represents a good option for the treatment of mild- to moderate hallux valgus, lesser toes deformities and metatarsalgia. Expand
Analysis of the Variables Affecting Outcome in Fractures of the Distal Radius Treated by Open Reduction and Volar Locking Plate
There was no correlation between the patient’s sex or the time between the fracture and surgery and each of the parameters considered, but a correlation was found between the type of fracture and three other parameters: the ulnar variance at 3 months, the range of motion and the total score (measured by the Mayo Wrist score).
