A review of some ecological factors affecting the growth of Azolla spp.
Understanding the habitat requirements of Azolla is very helpful for managing this aquatic fern, also for decision making in the context of wetland restoration and conservation management.
Modeling habitat preferences of Caspian kutum, Rutilus frisii kutum(Kamensky, 1901) (Actinopterygii, Cypriniformes) in the Caspian Sea
The results show that the effect of different seasons, sea depth, and photosyntheticaly active radiation were the main predictors affecting the habitat preferences of kutum in the Caspian Sea.
Modelling occurrence of roach “Rutilus rutilus” in streams
It is proposed that CTs in combination with GAs can have high potential when applied for decision-making in the context of stream restoration and conservation management programs.
Modelling Occurrence of Invasive Water Hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) in Wetlands
Eichhornia crassipes is one of the most ubiquitous invasive aquatic species in the world that negatively impact on native fauna and flora. The information on the occurrence of such invasive plant is
Analysis of environmental factors determining distribution pattern of Azolla filiculoides (Lam.) azollaceae in Anzali wetland, northern Iran.
Application of the given algorithms in combination with CTs thus proved to have a good capability in selecting the most important variables explaining the cover of A. filiculoides in Selkeh wetland.
