Biological control of chickpea Fusarium wilt by antagonistic bacteria under greenhouse condition.
In this survey, Fusarium oxysporum was isolated from roots infected plants and was shown to be pathogenic, and use of antagonists in combination had no significant effect on plant growth factors and reduction wilt disease.
New Anastomosis Group F (AG-F) of binucleate Rhizoctonia causing root and stem rot of Pistacia vera
This finding is the first report of anastomosis group F (AG-F) of binucleate Rhizoctonia, as causal agent of root and stem rot disease of pistachio in the world and Iran.
Effect of some Probiotic Bacteria as Biocontrol Agents of Meloidogyne incognita and Evaluation of Biochemical Changes of Plant Defense Enzymes on Two Cultivars of Pistachio
Results showed improved activity of POX, PAL and PPO in both cultivars, and the most significant result for POX activity in the treated seedlings belonged to Pseudomonas strain VUPF5, however, this strain displayed an increase in PAL activity at 2 and 4 DAI in Badami and Sarakhs, respectively.
