International Union of Pharmacology. XIII. Classification of histamine receptors.
The classification of histamine receptors has to date been based on rigorous classical pharmacological analysis, and as yet, the classification of the three histamines receptors that have been defined by this process have not been added to because of lack of evidence.

The results suggest that NO∗ synthesis in both macrophages and endothelial cells depends on an NADPH‐utilizing flavoprotein, and DPI and its analogs are likely to prove useful in analyzing the physiologic and pathophysiologic roles of NO·.

It is concluded that nitric oxide synthase in macula densa cells is activated by tubular-fluid reabsorption and mediates a vasodilating component to the tubuloglomerular feedback response.

P21ras is essential for NO-induced downstream signaling, such as NF-κB activation, and that endogenous NO can activate p21ras in the same cell, and it is suggested that NO activates p21ra by an action which mimics that of guanine nucleotide exchange factors.
