MICRO-ALGAE AS A SOURCE OF NUTRIENTS FOR DAPHNIDS
TLDR
The experimental data presented above show clearly that the unicellular algae such as Chlorella, Scenedesmus and Chlamydomonas, are excellent feed for daphnids, and filamentous blue-green algae Tolypothrix and Nostoc, also serve as nutrient for dAPHnids.
Influence of Reserpine and βTM 10 on Digitalis‐Induced Ventricular Arrhythmia
TLDR
It is concluded that while catecholamine release is the primary mechanism involved in the arrhythmia produced by small doses, another mechanism also plays a role in this action after larger doses.
Cardiovascular Actions of Taurine, γ-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA), and γ-Amino- ß-hydroxybutyric Acid (GABOB) after Chemical Denervation
TLDR
The cardiovascular actions of taurine, GABA, and GABOB were studied after chemical adrenergic denervation in order to evaluate the sympathetic pre- and postsynaptic actions of these agents.
Studies on the Active Form of Oral Gefarnate
TLDR
It is proposed that a metabolite of orally administered gefarnate (GF), an antiulcerative agent, is an acting substance, instead of GF, and may inhibit the cellular respiration when it was directly applied to the surface of gastric mucosa with higher concentrations.
