This study evaluated the relationship between inhibition of the rolipram-sensitive and the CI-930-sensitive low Km cyclic AMP-specific phosphodiesterase (PDE) isozymes and bronchomotor tone in the guinea pig and found a highly significant correlation between relaxation of CI-920-pretreated trachea and displacement of ro Lipram binding by these agents.

Nanosecond polarization-resolved laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy.
It is shown that the continuum emission produced in the ablation of an Al target with nanosecond laser pulses is much more strongly polarized than the discrete line emission and the lifetime of the emission closely tracks the intensity spectrum.
