The effect of artificial diet on the growth and reproduction of the aphids Myzus persicae (Sulz) and Brevicoryne brassicae (L) was studied. Variations in the susceptibility to pyrethrum and chlordane (two contact insecticides) of Lasioderma serricorne grown on different vitamin-deficient diets were studied and reasons for such variation were proposed.
The effect of foliar application of [14C] phorate on the larvae of M. persicae and B. brassicae was studied.
