Predicting fault-proneness using OO metrics. An industrial case study
TLDR
We empirically validate a set of object-oriented metrics in terms of their usefulness in predicting fault-proneness, an important software quality indicator. Expand

Image Retrieval Based on Color and Texture Features
TLDR
This paper is to overcome the above drawbacks, and have proposed using multi-feature approach to represent a color image, and then adding a slight noise on the different categories of images to match, finally, the results of the multi- feature matching defined as J4.8 decision trees' input to train correspondingly. The Trace Model: A model for simulation of the tracing process during evacuations in complex route environments
TLDR
A Trace Model was proposed to simulate such tracing processes, including (1) a Dynamic Douglas–Peucker algorithm to extract global key nodes from dynamically partial routes, (2) a key node complementation rule to address the issue in which the Dynamic Douglas- Peucker algorithm does not work for an extended time when the route is straight and long, and a modification to a follower's impatience factor, which is associated with the distance from the leader. National electronic health record systems as 'wicked projects': The Australian experience
TLDR
We use the experience of Australia's long journey towards a national electronic health record system as an example of how attempts to ‘streamline’ healthcare through information and communication technology (ICT) can, if poorly managed, ironically exhibit the characteristics of the ‘wicked problems’ they were intended to solve.
