Modern endoscopy has been in existence for > 100 yr. As the desire for increased visualization in endodontic surgery continues, there is a constant search for better instruments and techniques to meet this demand. Twenty-eight teeth diagnosed as having a crack were immediately treated with full coverage acrylic resin crowns. Twenty-five of these teeth became asymptomatic after full coverage acrylic crown placement and continued to be asymptomatic one year after restoration.
