A Chord-Based Novel Mobile Peer-to-Peer File Sharing Protocol
- Min Li, Enhong Chen, P. Sheu
- Computer ScienceAsia-Pacific Web Conference
- 16 January 2006
A novel mobile P2P protocol is presented, M-Chord, by adopting hierarchical structure and registering mechanism on the basis of Chord, and the experimental results show that M- Chord system has high-efficiency and good robustness in mobile P1P network.
A model comparison study of the flowering time regulatory network in Arabidopsis
- Charles C. N. Wang, Pei-Chun Chang, K. Ng, Chun-Ming Chang, P. Sheu, J. Tsai
- BiologyBMC Systems Biology
- 11 February 2014
Three dynamic models were adopted to describe the dynamics of the gene regulatory network of the flowering transition process in Arabidopsis: the S-system, the Michaelis-Menten model and the Mass-action model.
Semantic Web Services Annotation and Composition Based on ER Model
- ChengZhi Xu, Peng Liang, Taehyung Wang, Qi Wang, P. Sheu
- Computer ScienceIEEE International Conference on Sensor Networks…
- 7 June 2010
This paper proposes to use the ER model, which is widely employed in database management, to construct domain ontology and semantic web services efficiently and effectively.

- Computer ScienceIntelligent Information Processing
- 23 August 2017
Semantic Computing is ideal for industrial managers, researchers, and engineers seeking to design the next generation of computing systems in order to better meet user needs and is recommended as a textbook for senior undergraduate and graduate-level semantic computing courses.
From Semanticobjects to Semantic Software Engineering
- P. Sheu, Atsushi Kitazawa
- Computer ScienceInternational Journal of Semantic Computing
- 1 March 2007
The query language of SemanticObjects, a development framework for object relational applications, and its associated object relational algebra are described and a semantic software engineering methodology that streamlines the development of object relational Applications based on Semantic Objects is described.
Object-oriented systems
- C. Ramamoorthy, P. Sheu
- Computer ScienceIEEE Expert
- 1 September 1988
The authors describe how characteristic features of object-oriented systems can provide a foundation for various computational tasks and address the impact of object models on programming environments, expert systems and databases.
Software Life Cycle Models
- P. Sheu
- Computer Science
- 1997
The production process of a software system is usually called the life cycle of the system, and a number of models have been proposed.
Foglight: Visible Light-Enabled Indoor Localization System for Low-Power IoT Devices
Foglight is introduced, a visible light enabled indoor localization system for IoT devices that relies on unique spatial encoding produced when mechanical mirrors inside a projector are flipped based on gray-coded binary images to perform high-accuracy localization with minimum signal processing overhead.
