The tissue uptake of the two lipid-based preparations, particularly the spleen uptake, was greater than that of the glucose preparation, suggesting an active role of the lipid vehicle in tissue distribution.
Pharmacokinetics in Rats of N-Dimethylaminoacetyl-Partricin A 2-Dimethylaminoethylamide Diascorbate (SPK-843)

Both drugs showed an extensive tissue distribution, with higher uptake by the kidneys, followed by the liver, spleen and lungs for SPK-843, and higher uptake for amphotericin B at intravenous doses of 1 mg/kg, which led to sustained serum and tissue concentrations.
Pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution of a new partricin A derivative (N-dimethylaminoacetyl-partricin A 2-dimethylaminoethylamide diaspartate) in mice.

The urine concentrations of SPA-S-753 and the percent of the administered dose recovered from the urine were quite low in mice, whereas those of AmB were higher, and the tissue concentrations were lower than those ofAmB in liver and lungs but higher in the kidneys.
[Nutrition, acid-base metabolism, cation-anion difference and total base balance in humans].
The relationship between dietary intake and acid-base metabolism has been investigated in the past by means of the inorganic cation-anion difference method, but this approach has been criticized because it includes metabolizable acids, whose production cannot be measured independently.
