In this paper, a method for robust image registration based on M-estimator Correlation Coefficient (MCC) is presented. A real valued correlation mask function is computed using Huber and Tukey’s robust statistics and is used as a similarity measure for registering image windows. The mask function suppresses the influence of outlier points and makes the(More)

It has a horizon at r = 2M , which is a singularity of this coordinate system, but the curvature is not singular there, and regular Kruskal coordinates may be chosen. There is, however, a curvature singularity at r = 0, which is to be regarded as the location of a point source of mass M . Another example is the Reissner Nordström solution of the Einstein(More)
In the standard model, the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix, which incorporates the time-reversal violation shown by the charged current weak interactions, originates from the Higgs-quark interactions. The Yukawa interactions of quarks with the physical Higgs particle can contain further complex phase factors, but nevertheless conserve T, as shown by(More)
Detailed analysis shows that the phase of a complex mass term of a quark does not violate CP, while the QCD vacuum angle can naturally be set equal to zero. There is no strong CP problem and no need for axions or similar speculative constructions to be experimentally looked for. Talk given at THEP-I, IIT Roorkee, March 2005
